ISARA: the most accurate CMM
One of our precision metrology instruments is the ISARA Coordinate Measuring Machine. It is the most accurate three dimensional CMM available in the market. In the measurement range of 100 × 100 × 40 mm a volumetric accuracy of 30 nm is achieved. This system consists of a stationary probe and a moving table. It is also equipped with a metrology and structural frame. While the metrology frame is optimized for positional stability of the measurement systems, the base frame handles the actuator forces. This machine reduces its thermal sensitivity by a specially coated aluminum shielding, which filters out fast temperature changes before they can reach the metrology frame.
