Special machine for maximum accuracy
The ISARA achieves a volumetric accuracy of 30 nm in the measurement range of 100 ×100 × 40 mm. It is a system with a stationary probe and a moving product table. The position of this table is measured using three plane- mirror laser interferometers with compensation for temperature, air pressure and relative humidity. Another important aspect of ISARA is the ability to calibrate the metrology loop using the machine itself. Other features of this machine are:

• Two different frames for metrology and structural functions
• Thermal reduction by a specially coated aluminum shielding
• Sub-micron positioning capabilities to ensure that a wide range of probes can be used with the system
