The Process Monitor (CPA100) is the new capacitive system from LION Precision. The output from this system is repeatable but not linear. It is used in servo "zero-seeking" systems where the capacitive sensor outputs are used to drive a system to a known good condition.

The system is useful in production process applications that require some analog feedback and the ability to alert an operator or the control system when readings are out-of-range. It is also used where a threshold voltage is established at which some conditional action is initiated.
