What is OptiGauge?
OptiGauge is a powerful system which provides production line and static measurements of single and multilayer materials such as contact lenses, catheters, tubing and films. OptiGauge systems are in daily use in the medical, pharmaceutical, food packaging, eyecare products and coatings industries.
The OptiGauge system consists of four elements — probe, control module, PC and application software. The probe directs the narrow ray of infrared light, emitted from an LED, through transparent, translucent or colored materials and sends reflections from each internal surface through the control module to the PC, where highly advanced software provides instant analysis in an easy-to-use graphical user interface. OptiGauge can measure accurately (0,1μm) many different shapes and topographies, simultaneously supporting multiple probes that can be positioned hundreds of metres away from each other. |
