The MT Check System provides a simple but powerful measurement principle. Geometric deviations are for instance established by measuring a calibrated ball beam. The measurements are performed by a self-centring probe that measures X, Y and Z coordinates simultaneously. The probe has a large range, enabling a simple setup without intricate alignment procedures. A ball beam measurement only takes several minutes and shows directly the positioning accuracy and both straightness deviations.
